Highway King: where the jacket came from
A late-night drive, a desert highway, a sketch in the dashboard glow.

The Highway King came from a 4am drive.
Outback, somewhere between Broken Hill and Mildura. The high beams catching dust. Nothing on the road. The radio scanning empty.
Sketch in the notebook propped against the steering wheel: a small chevron crown, an angular K, the word HIGHWAY in serif italic. Stitched into a denim back panel.
The whole drop came from that sketch — the embroidered jacket, the matching cap, the print tee with the desert-highway photo behind the chevron.
We made 80 jackets. They sold out in three days. We're not restocking.
If you're on the list, you got first crack. If not — sign up for the next one. Highway King II is sketched but not drawn yet.
